Our simple herbal dewormer is the perfect way to keep your dog’s gut healthy and without burdensome parasites* like worms, coccidia, and giardia. It works with the body to keep the gastrointestinal tract working more optimally and to remove imbalances that lead to inflammation, malabsorption, and parasites. Each deworming cycle is five days long. The dewormer is generally added to food or can be mixed in peanut butter (make sure it isn’t sugar-free with xylitol, which is toxic to dogs), or cottage cheese. The dewormer is a little bitter in taste, due to the tannins, which is why masking the flavor is encouraged. We recommend you take our quiz to see how frequently you need to deworm. Depending on exposure to other dogs, unsanitary water, and wildlife or outdoor cats, we’ll recommend you deworm either bimonthly, quarterly, or semiannually. By setting up a subscription on the optimal frequency for your dog, you’ll be able to preventatively manage parasites in a way that will work with your dog’s system, and not against it, like the stress caused with many chemical dewormers. *Because heart worm comes from mosquitos and infects outside the gastrointestinal tract, our dewormer is not considered effective against heart worm. We still find ivermectin to be your best bet when working with heart worm prevention.
